It's crazy to actually think of How much the bollywood of the 80s and 90s owes to Sanskrit drama. Everything that you consider as 'typically' bollywood, i just found out, is actually really, the Core of the Sanskrit drama traditions.

And i suddenly feel like such a knowledgeable man.

Also, the comparative literature course structures at Jadavpur are so cool, it's not funny.

You know what, i totally agree. The Natyashastra is AT the base of Bollywood.

Song and dance - the BASIS of the Natyashastra is the blood of any Hindi movie (i'm talking about commercial stuff here).

Thematically too, Bollywood owes it's 'uniqueness' to Sanskrit literature.

I feel like a waster. Flunked Comp Lit ED twice, never did classes. Never learnt shit. Had Sanskrit Drama three semesters running, still don't know shit about it. I'm glad you're not making the same mistakes.
